Abortion Conversation Projects and those connected with ACP have produced guides and resources about abortion care.
A note to our supporters: We at ACP are currently working on updating our materials to be more reflective of the full spectrum of people who have abortions. We want to include the experiences and unique needs of underrepresented communities including LGBT, non-binary, trans, low-income, and people of color. While we are in the process of editing these documents, we will leave up the originals for those who find them beneficial. We thank you for your patience.
If you are interested in helping create these new tools, we welcome the support and can be reached at: email@example.com
Healthy Coping After an Abortion
"Many women wonder how they will feel emotionally after an abortion. Some women are already having a difficult time deciding what to do or are experiencing intense feelings about abortion. Others have had previous problems coping with stress and are not sure how they will deal with an abortion. A lot of women have heard stories about other women who had problems afterward and wonder if that will happen to them. Here is some information."
You Are a Good Woman For some women abortion is a clear, certain decision. For others it can be really hard. For most women it is somewhere in between. One in three American women will have an abortion during her life. Each day, good women and men make that choice.
Especially for Men If your partner is having--or considering--an abortion, it's probably affecting you too. Your concerns and hers may not be exactly the same– how you feel is important too. Even if you are trying to be "strong" for her, you are probably having some feelings about the situation.

Our intention with this guide is to help you find your way back into your life. When we heal, we do come back into the world a little different. We bring with us some new insights about our life, our situation and our decisions."
